Bradley Haverstoe – Two meetings in one
Bradley Haverstoe Council had a total of 40 brethren at the installation of W Bro Dave Metcalf, which was made even more special when the District Grand Prefect, Steve Barratt took the gavel from the Installing Master Phil Spicksley and opened a special District Grand meeting to invest the new District Grand Director of Ceremonies, Alan Black
Once the gavel was returned, the new Worshipful Master was installed by the ‘dream team’ of the two Phil’s – Spicksley and Aitken. W Bro Dave then took the reins and lead the rest of the meeting with confidence and calmness.
After the meeting was closed, we retired to the bar for pre meal drinks before enjoying NOT the usual Fish & Chips for a Cleethorpes meeting, but perfect Sausage, Mash and peas, followed by a delicious mixed fruit crumble. The dining room was buzzing, lots of laughter and chatter, a perfect end to a perfect evening!
